Start with supervision
Two clear-aligner products can look similar while the clinical service around them is very different. Determine who examined the patient, who designed the plan and how progress is monitored.
Treatment-package limits matter
Some aligner products are structured for limited numbers of trays or specific case types. Ask whether the proposed package can accommodate refinements or additional movement if the first sequence falls short.
Material differences are secondary to plan quality
Tray material and software features matter, but they cannot compensate for a poor diagnosis or unrealistic movement design.
Compare retention too
The active aligner brand does not determine the long-term retention strategy. Ask what retainers are planned and how replacements will be handled.
